The July kit contains over 12 science, math, art, literacy, and engineering activities inspired by the book One Tiny Turtle, which is a beautifully illustrated story about the life of a Loggerhead sea turtle. This month children will play games with a wind-up sea turtle that really swims in water, create floating seaweed to shelter a baby sea turtle, create a model of the sea turtle's life cycle, construct an adult sea turtle out of clay and a real shell, create an ocean habitat with real sand and blue putty, play games with mini sea turtles, plus so much more.
